• We’re using our kettle corn unit at a drag racing track and festivals. We’re also offering cotton candy. So far the kettle corn has outsold the cotton candy. Our best day was at the Spring Nationals Drag Racing…about 7,000 people for the 2 days. We had 3 people working and grossed about $2,500. The money spent on our unit is money well spent. We have 3 teenagers; they all work with us. They earn spending money and are learning how to run and manage a business. This will help them get ready for their adult years and the extra income we earn will help pay for their college.

• So far I have only had one semi-festival day. It was a new park dedication and they had entertainment all day. Pretty busy, but I wasn’t selling much corn for the first 3 hours and then all of a sudden I sold about $700 worth in 2 hours. Finished the day around $900. I have many competitors in my area and I have checked every one of their machines out. I have yet to find a more efficient kettle corn popper out there. I have seen many machines that are not fully enclosed, causing loss of heat of the kettle and way too much heat on the person cooking. The other guys don’t stand a chance against my North Bend Original. Thanks for the great popper and all the ongoing help you have given me.
